Professional Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in analyzing project performance problems and working on projects in policy, sectoral, institutional or systems development in the public sector.
  • Working familiarity with operational procedures relating to internationally-funded development projects: experience with public sector projects and/or with bi-lateral or multi-lateral funding agencies
  • Experience with public financial and administrative management systems

Education and Training

  • Post graduate degree or professional certification in Business Administration, Public administration, Economic, developmental studies or any other relevant field
  • Training of project management routines of government and international development partners

Other Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills in the Dutch language (preferably as the candidate’s native language) for providing training and proficiency in the English language for reporting to the Bank
  • Strong leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to coordinate a multi-agency team; good interpersonal relations; strong initiative and results orientation
  • Good organizational, analytical, team-building, problem solving, communication and negotiating (including conflict resolution) skills
